We live in the United States. Since 2004 when we visit Areco we cannot avoid to travel to Areco every time me go to Argentina for a couple of days. The people, the air, the kindness of everyone, make us return. A hug for everyone and specially for our friends from La Lechuza.

I tell to Areco´s people and everyone in Brasil, that Areco is an incredible town which has very kind inhabitants.

I really liked the town and all the activities that offers to the tourist. Recently I had the chance to go to a farm, a beautiful place at only 15 Km. from town. I had a very good experience. I learned how the life at the farm was before and today. We also made a horse riding all together with the farm’s owner. It was an unforgettable experience! I recommend it!

Lately we need to disconnect ourselves from the city life and daily commitments with more frequency, that´s why me began to visit different places away from the city with my wife, where we can enjoy the nature and connected with our traditions. That´s the reason why we decided to travel for a weekend to San Antonio de Areco, where we enjoyed a country day, we took a walk by the riverside and through the town where you could see the old bars. It surprised us to find that in some places there´s a place to tie the horses! Finally… it´s a wonderful place to visit. We suggest it.

San Antonio de Areco is a nice town, where people make a workship of the Argentinian tradition. I like the clean streets, the good maintenance of the old houses and going for a walk around the river coast. But what I like most is to meet people, see how everybody takes part in the different cultural activities that are planned and how this town confirms that Argentina is a hearth of a furnace of races where you can see blonde or red hair “gauchos” with blue eyes. You always want to come back here.

I would like to be thankful specially for the hospitality of the Areco´s people. Not only we have the kindest regards of our visit but also we enriched with the chats, drinking mate with the town people. Please, visit the “Puente Viejo” (Old Bridge) and the river coast, the museaums and the craftsmen shops, the chocolate factory and the Arellano Square.
